Horus

African Grey Parrot - Horus. Narrated by Cynthia GriffithSarah Nelson is an unemployed writer trying to find her next gig while dealing with her overbearing mother. Her world changes the day she answers an ad as a writer’s assistant for a famous author.

With time to focus on her own writing and learn even more about the industry from her new mentor, everything seems perfect until the day Sarah gets more than she bargained for in the form of an African Grey parrot named Horus.

      Thank you, Colleen. There was so much more I wanted to do with the story, but it went longer than planned as it was. I would not mind turning this story into [at least] a novella someday. There’s just so much more than can be done.

      And, obviously, it means a lot that it passes the approval of someone who shares their life with an African Grey and other parrots 🙂
